Euskaltel-Euskadi er sponset av det baskiske telekommunikasjons-selskapet Euskaltel og fungerer som et uoffisielt baskisk landslag. Sykkellaget får også en del økonomisk støtte fra den baskiske regjeringen. De er lett gjenkjennelige i sine signaloransje drakter. Tradisjonelt består mannskapet av sterke klatrere. Sammenlagthåpet i 2011 er regjerende olympisk mester Samuel Sanchez.
