Dansk skuespillerkjekkas nominert til Golden Globe

Viggo Mortensen kan vinne storslått filmpris.

I januar er det nok en gang duket for den anerkjente prisutdelingen Golden Globe, og denne gang kan en av prisene gå til den danske skuespilleren Viggo Mortensen.

Nominert for birolle

Under annonseringen av nominasjonene torsdag, ble det nemlig kjent at skuespillerkjekkasen er nominert i kategorien «Beste birolle» for sin rolle i filmen «A Dangerous Method», hvor han spiller Sigmund Freud.

Filmen handler om én av Freuds elever, Carl Jung, som innleder et forhold til en av sine kvinnelige pasienter. Den kvinnelige pasienten blir spilt av Keira Knightley.

Mortensen er nominert ved siden av blant andre Albert Brooks og Kenneth Branagh. Disse nominert for rollene i henholdsvis «Drive» og «My Week with Marilyn».

Mortensen har tidligere vært nominert til Golden Globe én gang, for rollen han gjorde i filmen «Eastern Promises».

Pekepinn til Oscar-utdelingen

Golden Globe-utdelingen sparker i gang prisutdelingssesongen hvert år, og regnes for å være den første indikasjon på filmbransjens store happening, Oscar-utdelingen. Oscar-nominasjonene kommer 24. januar og selve utdelingen finner sted 26. februar.
