Laudrup rammet av kreft

Tidligere fotballstjerne Brian Laudrup (41) er rammet av lymfekreft.

Dansken fikk diagnosen forrige uke. Det skal være snakk om en mild variant av sykdommen, melder hans arbeidsgiver, TV 3, i en pressemelding.

Laudrup har startet behandling og vil fortsette som ekspertkommentator for kanalen i mesterligakampene senere i høst.

- Naturligvis er jeg sjokkert over diagnosen. Samtidig har jeg akseptert at jeg står foran en hard kamp, en kamp jeg vil vinne, sier Brian Laudrup.

41-åringen har 14 sesonger som profesjonell bak seg, blant annet i Bayern München, Fiorentina, Milan, Rangers, Chelsea og Ajax. Han spilte 82 landskamper for Danmark og scoret 21 mål. (©NTB)
